Welcome to the Department of Geology Cluster University Srinagar. We invite you to explore our department and take geology as one of the subjects in your bachelor programme. We try to develop in each student, critical thinking, passion and essential skills to make students future ready to face the challenges of life. Emphasis will be placed on learning basic concepts and techniques through teaching, field and outreach programmes that promote the development of professionals with profound ethical values. In this way, the department will produce well-trained, capable, students competent in responding to societal needs as well as contribute to the enrichment of science and society through the creation and dissemination of new knowledge.
